Embracing Adventure and Finding a Voice

This is a great story about a young boy who was diagnosed with autism and found his voice through his connection with horses and travels with his family. His father wrote a book, Horse Boy, which chronicled the families travels through Mongolia and the meeting of a shaman that encouraged the family to continue taking the boy on adventures and how the boy came to find his voice. Dad does not claim that these shaman’s or journeys cured is son, but he does encourage others to follow their children’s adventurous side. Read this story, it is pretty amazing!
