#SelfiesforAwareness

We Rock for Autism wants to see a “selfie” of you AND your child, sibling, friend… We see so many cute pics of ASD kids, but we rarely see the great parent or parents, siblings or other family members that are often the ones behind the camera! So, take a selfie of you and your child or family and send it to us!

Check out the selfies we have received so far!

Here is Jaimie and her little boy. Jaimie says: My 3 1/2 year old just got diagnosed on April 23, 2014. Since he was born I knew he was different & much special. He’s an incredible boy who may seem hard at times but those meltdowns he has just makes me wanna help and understand him more. Right now he can use three words in a sentence and he loves speech therapy. He may seem to be a loner at the playground, but he might want u to chase him around just no touching. And we all understand this. I love this boy with all my heart and I promise him, I'll stand by him and guide him.

Mom and her little 21/2 year old diva! Mom said, "We are learning new things daily, about her, us and autism. I feel so lucky to be her Mommy, she makes me so proud and she tries so hard with every task! She never gives up and she's the strongest little diva I've ever met.
