We Rock for Autism will be hosting it’s first event in April of 2105 and will be attending the 80’s in the Park event in August of 2015 promoting autism acceptance and raising funds for We Rock for Autism. Our goal is to raise $5,000 in 2015 to assist children with autism in receiving music therapy and music based toys.
We are also working on planing Family Fun Days and more concerts and rallies that provide us with sponsorship donations, we will be there to help spread autism awareness and acceptance. A portion of the donations we receive will be used to prepare and distribute autism information and awareness products at the events, as well as host full Family Fun Day events. Family Fun Day events will be held at local parks and offer families the chance to have fun outdoors, allow their ASD children a chance to have fun with others, and meet and share with other ASD families. These events will be free of admission costs to the families and will also feature guest speakers and information.
Donations to We Rock for Autism will also go toward us providing financial support to low income families that have children with autism. The funds provided to the families will help with the financial responsibilities of the family for various therapy or treatment sessions.
We Rock for Autism will also be holding auctions and sales at various events to help raise money for the foundation. Donations can be made via credit card or checks, and we will also consider items to be donated that can be sold or auctioned at various events. Such items may include sports, music or movie memorabilia (signed items are great) and tickets or package deals for music events, festivals, travel, movies, and more.
If you have an item you would like to donate to We Rock for Autism, please feel free to contact us first to verify that we will be able to benefit from the donation.
